Muslim Writers North invites you to the second edition of Lyrical Layl, our dedicated open mic and creative gathering held at Chorlton Library.

Following our packed launch night exploring Belonging, our July gathering turns to the vital theme of Identity. Who are we when we peel back the labels given to us by the world? Whether reflecting on dual heritage, personal memory, cultural roots, or the spiritual self, we invite poets, storytellers, and writers to share their voice.

Whether you want to step up to the stage, test out new work, or simply sit back, listen, and hold space in an atmosphere of warm community, everyone is welcome.
