Lyrical Layl: The September Gathering

Muslim Writers North invites you to the autumn edition of Lyrical Layl, our dedicated open mic and creative space held at Chorlton Library.

Following our wonderful summer sessions, September brings a fresh evening of spoken word, fiction, and poetry. Our creative theme for this gathering is Light (Noor).

We invite writers, performers, and attendees to reflect on illumination in all its forms—clarity through adversity, spiritual remembrance, new dawns, guided heritage, or the gentle glow of community. Whether you want to take to the microphone, test out new material, or simply sit back and hold space in an atmosphere of warmth and mutual encouragement, everyone is welcome.
